About Basis

Basis builds real agents that do real work in the real economy. Our agents operate for hours at a time, performing end-to-end work for some of the largest accounting firms in the world.

We recently raised $100M at >$1B valuation and are racing to deploy the most advanced applied ML at production scale.

Our investors include: Khosla Ventures (Keith Rabois & Vinod Khosla), Accel (Miles Clements), Google Ventures, Nat Friedman & Daniel Gross, Adam D'Angelo, Jeff Dean, Jack Altman, Noam Brown, Kyle Vogt, Amjad Masad, Clem Delangue and many other operators/technical leaders.

"Basis is on the frontier of building production-grade, long-horizon agents. They've pushed the limits of what we thought our models could do on real-world, economically valuable, complex accounting tasks. They've been a great collaborator in helping us shape what the future of agents looks like." — Prashant Mital, Applied AI Lead, OpenAI

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Leader to build, lead, and scale the rev ops function at Basis. You’ll hire and develop a team across the core pillars of rev ops—systems & data, analytics & insights, process & enablement, and commissions—while maintaining hands-on ownership of strategy and execution as we grow. You’ll partner directly with the CEO and go-to-market leadership to design the infrastructure and operating cadence that powers our commercial organization.

  •  Build & lead the rev ops team
  •  Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing rev ops team across systems administration, data/analytics, deal desk, and commissions
  •  Set team priorities, define roles, and establish career paths as the function scales
  •  Create a culture of rigor, speed, and cross-functional partnership
  •  Set GTM strategy & operating cadence
  •  Partner with CEO and Sales/Marketing leadership on segmentation, territory design, pipeline health, and forecasting
  •  Translate company growth targets into quarterly and annual GTM operating plans with clear goals and leading indicators
  •  Own systems & data
  •  Own and optimize the GTM stack (Salesforce/HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo, Clay, automation platforms)
  •  Build dashboards and analytics that leadership and teams trust for decision-making
  •  Design integrations and workflows to maintain clean, reliable data across tools
  •  Drive execution & alignment
  •  Build and maintain integrations and automation to increase rep productivity
  •  Standardize lead-to-customer lifecycle and implement scalable pipeline governance
  •  Document processes and ensure cross-functional teams adopt changes with measurable outcomes

📍 Location: NYC, Flatiron office. In-person team.

What You’ll Bring

  •  7–12+ years in RevOps / Sales Ops at high-growth SaaS companies, with at least 2–3 years leading a team
  •  Track record of building and scaling a rev ops function (hiring, org design, setting team roadmaps)
  •  Deep CRM ownership (Salesforce or HubSpot): account ownership/territories, pipeline hygiene, stage definitions
  •  Experience running forecasting + pipeline analytics (dashboards, weekly exec-ready views)
  •  Built and administered commissions plans/processes (or owned the tool + payouts end-to-end)
  •  High ownership, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in-person (Manhattan, 5 days/week)

What Success looks like in this role

  •  A high-performing rev ops team that scales with the business across systems, analytics, and process
  •  Clean pipeline + clear ownership across accounts and deals
  •  Forecast that leadership trusts (weekly cadence, tight definitions, fast variance analysis)
  •  Commissions that are accurate, on-time, and transparent
  •  Reporting that answers “what changed?” in minutes, not hours

Benefits At Basis

  •  Health & Wellness: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; Life Insurance; and 6 coaching & 6 therapy sessions through Spring Health.
  •  Time off: Unlimited PTO + 12 paid company holidays.
  •  In-Office Perks: Daily meal stipends, a fully stocked kitchen, and $300 toward your custom desk setup.
  •  Financial Benefits: Pre-tax commuter benefits and 401(k) retirement plan
