What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

​

•  Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
•  Provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations and personnel within the A/P functional group
•  Use independent judgment to manage personnel and support positive staff relations
•  Act as a service coordinator and advocate for excellence in line with the employer's core values
•  Ensure budget-focused operations while maintaining high standards of patient care

What Is Required (Qualifications)

​

•  Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field, or equivalent education
•  At least 5 years of accounts payable experience
•  Strong understanding of accounting theories, practices, and GAAP
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including functions, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and automation using macros and VBA
•  Experience with electronic purchase orders

•  Master's degree in accounting or finance-related field
•  Experience with accounting or finance in a hospital or healthcare system
