Director of Business Operations
Role Description
The Director of Business Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing CCTC’s business processes and operational performance. This role will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of workflows that support consulting engagements, clinical trial project delivery, and internal resource management. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing operational data, managing budgets and financial performance, coordinating program and project activities, and ensuring efficient collaboration across consultants and partners. The Director will develop and refine business operations strategies, implement process improvements, and establish metrics to track effectiveness and scalability. This position will also contribute to business planning, support client-facing proposals with operational insights, and ensure that internal systems and tools align with CCTC’s growth objectives and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Operations and Business Process Improvement skills to design, manage, and refine operational workflows.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and drive evidence-based decisions.
- Demonstrated Finance expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance.
- Proven Program Management capabilities to coordinate multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Experience in consulting, clinical research, healthcare, or biopharmaceutical operations is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Comfort with digital tools and systems for remote work, project tracking, and data analysis.
