Job Description:
Aptia is a trusted provider of employee benefits and pension administration services, with offices in the U.S. and U.K. supported by shared services in India and Portugal. We manage programs covering over six million people and serving more than 1,100 clients, catering to both B2B purchasers of the administration platform and B2C employees.
With our extensive experience in the industry, we will deliver efficient and reliable solutions that ensure the smooth management of employee benefits programs. Our dedicated team of experts will combine in-depth knowledge with leading technology to simplify the administration process for clients.
The Product Operations Manager is responsible for building and running the operating backbone of Aptia's product organization. This role ensures that product strategy, execution and outcomes stay aligned as the organization scales. You will design, standardize, and enforce the product management operating system - the frameworks, tooling, rituals, and governance that define how product work is planned, executed, measured, and delivered at Aptia. This role requires fluency in modern, proven product management practices, and the ability to translate those practices into clear expectations for how work gets done, what must be produced, and when decisions and deliverables are required. The Product Operations Manager brings consistency and rigor, establishing shared language, artifacts, and accountability across product teams while preserving space for product leadership and innovation. This role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Aptia.
Location: This position is hybrid from our Lake Mary, FL office (three days per week onsite). Remote work may be considered for candidates located outside of the Lake Mary area, with a preference for those based on the East Coast or able to work Eastern Time hours.

- Support product leaders with structured decision-making frameworks and clear views of progress against goals.
- Maintain consistency in product artifacts, documentation and communication across teams.
Release Process & Cadence
- Define and run a clear, consistent product release model including major and minor releases, planning timelines, readiness checkpoints, and post-release evaluation.
- Own the end-to-end release process, serving as the point of orchestration across product, engineering, marketing, operations, sales and client-facing teams
- Establish standardized release artifacts, checklists, and centralized documentation to ensure predictable execution and clear communication
Metrics, Insights and Performance Management
- Define and operationalize product metrics that track delivery, adoption, quality, and business impact.
- Create dashboards and executive-ready narrative that connect product work to measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Enablement
- Act as the connective tissue between product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance and operations, ensuring common understanding of roles, responsibilities and connection points.
- Improve coordination and handoffs across teams to reduce friction and accelerate delivery
- Support effective product launches/releases through readiness planning, internal enablement, and post-launch evaluation.
Process Improvement & Scale
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and gaps in how product work gets done.
- Design and implement improvements that increase speed, predictability, and quality as the organization grows
- Introduce, standardize, and continuously improve modern product management practices, including discovery, prioritization, roadmap management, requirements definition, and measurement.
- Drive consistency in tooling, templates, frameworks and artifacts ensuring teams are aligned in how product work is defined, documented and delivered.
Why this Role Matters
Product operations is critical to building a product organization that scales effectively. In this role, you will help create the clarity, consistency and transparency that allow teams to move faster, make better decisions, and deliver consistent value to customers and the business. You'll play a key role in shaping how Aptia builds products - today and as the organization continues to grow.
What You Bring
- Multiple years in Product Operations, Product Management, Program Management, or other related role in a scale product organization.
- Strong understanding of modern product development practices, portfolio management, and cross-functional delivery.
