We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of data-driven systems and applications. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, with a strong foundation in database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL development. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and software developers.
Your Impact:
- Serve as the Product Owner for data-centric products, managing the product backlog and prioritizing features based on business value.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate deliverables against requirements.
- Maintain and enhance data documentation including Data Dictionaries and Data Catalogs.
- Support data governance and quality initiatives.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Database & Data Modeling:
- Familiarity with data artifacts such as Data Dictionary and Data Catalog.
- Ability to read and create Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams.
- SQL & Relational Databases:
- Proficiency with DBeaver IDE or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of SQL syntax, data types, and relational database fundamentals.
- Experience with Data Definition Language (DDL): CREATE, ALTER, DROP, TRUNCATE.
- Experience with Data Manipulation Language (DML): writing complex queries for CRUD operations.
- Strong skills in writing and optimizing SELECT queries with multiple JOINs (inner, outer, left, right, full).
- Ability to group and aggregate data, use SQL functions, and apply SQL constraints effectively.
- PL/SQL Development:
- Familiarity with PL/SQL Developer or similar tools.
- Ability to read, interpret, and debug stored procedures.
- Experience creating and testing new stored procedures as needed.
