Principal Product Manager - AI Platform, AI Evaluations
Job Description:
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join a rapidly scaling Enterprise AI company that supports Enterprise, Government, and Defense customers across the USA!
This company raised over $100M in funding and is looking to make a number of key appointments to spearhead a number of large 0-1 initiatives that have the potential to surpass their core offering to date.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years' product management experience, with a track record of owning complex technical platform or infrastructure products.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML evaluation, benchmarking, model quality, reliability, and performance across LLMs, fine-tuned models, agents, and modern AI applications.
- Experience turning cutting-edge research or emerging technologies into scalable, customer-facing products.
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor, setting product strategy, writing clear specifications, and driving execution with Engineering, Design, and Research.
- Technically credible—you can challenge assumptions, navigate architectural trade-offs, and partner effectively with highly technical teams.
- Experience building enterprise B2B products, ideally for regulated or compliance-driven customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
You'll bring strong working knowledge of:
- LLMs, RAG, AI agents, fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and model benchmarking.
- The end-to-end AI product lifecycle, from data and training through deployment, monitoring, and continuous evaluation.
- Designing APIs, SDKs, and product experiences for technical users.
- Interpreting research papers, experiments, and benchmark results to inform product strategy.
