At Virtual Incentives, we're transforming how rewards, incentives, and payments are delivered in a digital-first world.
Our platform powers secure, scalable digital payouts and rewards experiences for Fortune 100 companies, technology platforms, and global brands. From digital gift cards and prepaid cards to emerging engagement solutions, we help organizations motivate, reward, and connect with customers, employees, partners, and communities around the world.
As we continue to grow, we're investing in the future of engagement, and we're looking for a Product Strategy Manager to help build it.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a Product Strategy Manager to lead the execution and evolution of our Loyalty, Motivation & Engagement Platform, a strategic initiative designed to help clients move beyond one-time incentives and create ongoing, behavior-driven engagement programs powered by points, rewards, gamification, and partner-funded value.
This is a hands-on product management role where you'll work at the intersection of fintech, loyalty, engagement, payments, user experience, and marketplace ecosystems. You'll partner closely with Engineering, QA, Partnerships, Operations, Sales, and Account Management to transform product strategy into scalable, market-ready capabilities.
If you're energized by building products from the ground up, solving complex platform challenges, and creating experiences that influence customer behavior, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What You'll Own
Building a Modern Loyalty, Motivation & Engagement Platform
You'll own and manage the day-to-day product backlog and execution for a next-generation motivation platform that enables organizations to launch and manage sophisticated loyalty, rewards, and engagement programs.
Key areas include:
• Points earning, tracking, redemption, expiration, adjustments, and reporting
• Rules engines and configurable program logic
• Scalable and auditable points ledger capabilities
• Balance management and transaction history experiences
• Real-time notifications and customer support workflows
• Program administration and client-facing configuration tools
Designing Engagement That Drives Behavior
We're not just building a rewards platform—we're building a platform that motivates action.
You'll help shape engagement mechanics that encourage repeat participation and long-term loyalty through:
• Points-based incentives
• Referrals and advocacy programs
• Surveys, learning modules, and onboarding activities
• Bonus events and earning multipliers
• Tiered rewards and VIP experiences
• Challenges, milestones, streaks, and progression systems
• Personalized engagement journeys and behavioral nudges
You'll help ensure our products leverage proven engagement principles while delivering measurable value for clients and end users.
Expanding Our Rewards Ecosystem
You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define and optimize the rewards marketplace experience, including Gift cards, Merchandise, Experiences, Donations and Partner-funded promotions and perks.
You'll help coordinate partner requirements, vendor capabilities, fulfillment workflows, SLAs, and integration needs to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
Supporting an API-First Platform Strategy
You'll work alongside Engineering and external partners to help define and deliver:
• APIs for points issuance and redemption
• Event-driven workflows and webhooks
• Partner and client integrations
• Documentation and monitoring requirements
• Launch readiness and post-launch support
This role is ideal for someone comfortable operating between technical and business teams while helping translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
Additional Product Responsibilities
In addition to leading our Loyalty, Motivation & Engagement Platform initiatives, you'll support our broader open-loop payments product portfolio, including:
• Visa® and Mastercard® prepaid and debit solutions
• Direct-to-bank (A2A) payout capabilities
• Issuer and processor integrations
• Compliance and regulatory requirements
• Product enhancements and operational improvements
You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams to help ensure these products remain reliable, scalable, compliant, and client-ready.
What We're Looking For
✔ 4–7 years of Product Management experience; ideally in fintech, loyalty, rewards, incentives, payments, marketplaces, or B2B2C technology platforms
✔ Strong backlog management and Agile delivery experience
✔ Experience working with APIs, integrations, data feeds, and technical teams
✔ Ability to translate business goals, customer needs, and operational requirements into actionable product plans
✔ Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
✔ Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions
Bonus Points For
• Loyalty and rewards program experience
• Points-based ecosystems and engagement platforms
• Gamification and behavioral design
• Ledger-based or stored-value systems
• Rewards catalogs and marketplace products
