Head of Finance & Operations

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Financial Operations to lead and optimize the back-office financial infrastructure supporting our project-based business model. This role is central to the execution of construction loan closings, capital calls, covenant compliance, and fund-level reporting.

The ideal candidate brings experience from project finance, renewable energy, or banking, with a strong understanding of how large-scale infrastructure deals get financed and operationalized. A background in solar or similar project-based industries is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

● Quarterback loan closings for construction-stage projects across our fund portfolio—liaising with lenders, internal teams, and external counsel.

● Manage capital raise operations, including fund-level tracking, drawdowns, and reporting to investors.

● Maintain strong relationships with bank partners, coordinating smooth execution of financial transactions and compliance obligations.

● Oversee covenant monitoring and reporting across 125+ active projects, ensuring alignment with fund and lender requirements.

● Partner with finance, legal, and asset management teams to support the closing process for new projects and ongoing capital structuring.

● Build and maintain dashboards and systems to track capital movements, project cash flows, and fund-level performance metrics.

● Act as a cross-functional quarterback during high-stakes moments—such as capital deployment milestones and construction loan closings.

Ideal Candidate Profile

● 7–12 years of experience in financial operations, project finance, or structured credit—preferably from a bank, energy company, or project-based fund.

● Deep understanding of construction financing, infrastructure loan structures, and back-office execution.

● Experience managing financial operations across multiple funds and complex capital stacks.

● Familiarity with renewable energy or solar development a strong plus.

● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment.

● Strong communicator with the ability to interface effectively with lenders, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
