Director of Operations

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading technology lifecycle organization to appoint a Director of Operations for its Columbus, Ohio operations.

​

This role is responsible for leading a large-scale, multi-building processing and warehouse operation, driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and delivering continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance.

​

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day site operations across production, warehouse, and logistics functions
• Manage site performance, KPIs, staffing, and operational budgets
• Build, coach, and develop high-performing operational teams
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, productivity, and inventory accuracy
• Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, R2, and customer quality standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and scalable growth

Requirements

• 7+ years' operations or warehouse leadership experience
• Previous Site Director, Plant Manager, General Manager, or similar leadership experience
• Strong background managing large operational teams and site performance
• Experience with P&L responsibility, inventory management, and operational KPIs
• Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, and compliance-driven environments
• ITAD, electronics recycling, reverse logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
