Salary: $200,000 - $220,000 (25% bonus prorated)

Schedule: Monday-Friday Onsite  

Must Haves:  

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or operations environments.  
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, managers, and large production teams.  
• Experience leading manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.  
• Strong workforce planning and capacity planning experience, including translating forecasts into staffing plans, labor budgets, and production schedules.  
• Experience owning operational KPIs including productivity, throughput, on-time delivery, quality, inventory accuracy, and cost management  
• Proven ability developing frontline leaders, supervisors, and building bench strength within an operation.  
• Strong analytical skills with experience reporting operational performance to executive leadership.  
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, Finance, Quality, and executive leadership.  
• Ability to drive process improvements, operational efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.  
• Bachelor's Degree required.  
• Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week in Irvine.  

Plusses:  

• Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE/Double E highly preferred).  
• Bilingual English/Spanish.  
• Experience in electronics, RF, cable assembly, connector manufacturing, or technical manufacturing environments.  
• Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.  
• Experience with ERP systems, production systems, automation initiatives, or operational technology implementations.  
• Experience in a quality-driven manufacturing environment supporting mission-critical products.  

Day to Day:  

Infinite Electronics is looking for a Director of Operations to lead all manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, and production operations at their Irvine facility. This person will have direct visibility with executive leadership and the CEO while taking ownership of the company's primary West Coast manufacturing site. The current Director has established strong internal credibility, so they need someone who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.  

This leader will directly manage 6 operational leaders and indirectly oversee approximately 72 employees across production, quality, warehouse, shipping, and receiving functions. They'll be responsible for workforce planning, production planning, labor forecasting, operational efficiency, quality standards, and ultimately ensuring products are delivered on time to customers.  

The facility supports approximately 30 assembly workstations building customer-specific connector and cable solutions used in highly technical and mission-critical applications including data centers, communications infrastructure, military and defense environments, and other advanced technology applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance day-to-day operational execution with long-term strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities  

• Lead all assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.  
• Manage and develop production supervisors and operational leaders responsible for production teams.  
• Own workforce planning, staffing strategies, labor budgets, and capacity planning.  
• Translate sales forecasts and production demand into staffing plans, shift structures, and resource allocation.  
• Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs related to productivity, throughput, quality, inventory accuracy, delivery, and cost management.  
• Drive production planning and execution from inventory planning through customer delivery.  
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production flow.  
• Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines for supervisors and operational leaders.  
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, safety, quality, and operational processes.  
• Implement and optimize operational technologies, applications, and process improvements.  
• Present operational performance, production metrics, and staffing updates to executive leadership.  
• Ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.  
• Support products ultimately deployed into mission-critical customer environments including data centers and highly technical infrastructure applications.  

Compensation:  

$200,000 to $220,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
