Role Description

The VP of Asset Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the operational performance of digital asset trading activities across the XPAN Protocol and associated platforms. This role leads the development and execution of asset operations strategies, including liquidity management, trading workflows, risk controls, and operational governance. The VP will collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless integration of operational processes, high service quality, and efficient resolution of asset-related issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key operational metrics, optimizing processes, managing vendor and partner relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals. The role also includes supporting strategic decision-making, contributing to roadmap planning, and providing leadership to the asset operations team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, with experience designing and optimizing processes for digital asset or financial technology environments.
• Strong P&L Management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis to support profitable and sustainable operations.
• Customer Service experience focused on institutional or advanced retail clients, with the ability to maintain high satisfaction and manage complex inquiries.
• Proficiency in Strategic Planning, including setting operational priorities, aligning resources with organizational goals, and managing risk.
• Solid Project Management skills for leading cross-functional initiatives, implementing new tools and workflows, and meeting timelines and deliverables.
• Background in blockchain, digital assets, trading platforms, or financial services is highly beneficial.
• Proven leadership experience managing distributed or remote teams, fostering collaboration, and developing talent.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in operations, finance, or blockchain are a plus.
