Opportunity Snapshot 

  • Shore Capital’s Healthcare team is looking for a Head of Operations to join one of its fast-growing platforms. As a direct report to the CEO, The Head Ops will be highly involved in the Company’s growth plans and ultimately responsible for overseeing the management of platform wide operating metrics, and the successful integration of acquisitions, including operations assessment, workflow integrations, client and employee transitions,  
  • personnel assessment and staffing, billing integrations, and process analysis. This role will focus on extending consistent business practices across all  
  • acquired affiliate partners, consolidation of standardized processes at the platform level, defined branding, and marketing across affiliate partners.  
  • The person will also be responsible for leading business planning strategies to identify and take advantage of market, industry and economic  
  • opportunities while mitigating risks. The individual will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators to achieve the Company’s goals,  
  • leading strategic initiatives related to sustainable revenue generation, financial and operational analytics and modeling, and identifying and  
  • optimizing inefficiencies within the Company.

Responsibilities

A successful candidate must be professional, collaborative, and have a working knowledge of the business aspects of the healthcare industry and multi-site operations. The ability to communicate, persuade and influence others is essential. The individual in this position must build rapport and trust with med spa clients and the corporate team as a leader within the organization. The position requires someone who is a self-starter, can think creatively, has the financial acumen to effectively understand and explain the business model and is adept at developing viable business solutions for prospects and existing clients.

  •  Serve as the operations leader at the business, both internally with the team and externally with clients.
  •  Manage four wall P&L - drive improvement in P&L line items through field education and management, while implementing best practices throughout the platform and adhering to SOPs.
  •  Play an integral role developing, implementing and innovating the company strategy and business operations.
  •  Help execute acquisition integration processes for full absorption into the platform; success would include the organization being able to handle multiple concurrent acquisitions at a time.
  •  Develop key KPIs to measure the speed, growth, cross-sell revenue realization, and overall success of the integration process.
  •  Serve as a key member of a highly engaged team working to rapidly add and serve new partners.
  •  Identify varied approaches that represent unique opportunities for the business to grow existing practices, as well as further penetrate our

respective markets.

  •  Regularly analyze service offerings and business environment to keep current on market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  •  Collaborate with our marketing, client services, and business development teams to promote efficiencies and generate operating leverage.
  •  Thoroughly understand our practices’ business needs and requirements – whether a solo, group, or partner in a multi-provider practice.
  •  Manage cross-department tracking of metrics at the platform level, and hold each department accountable to goals.
  •  Be articulate and have outstanding written communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

Professional Qualifications. 

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in business, or a healthcare-related major from an accredited college or university.
  •  Minimum of 6 years of successful financial or operational experience, with several of those years preferably with a private equity firm, or with a private equity-backed multi-site healthcare business.
  •  Ability to establish credibility with team members and practice leaders.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization with professionalism and integrity.
  •  Capability and demonstrated success in setting goals and meeting targets.
  •  Ability to work in a high growth, collaborative, dynamic, and client-focused culture.
  •  Knowledge of and comfort with technology and client relationship management software systems.
