Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.  
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling and reporting.
  • Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and influence partner teams, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Ability to deliver quality work in a results-oriented project and team environment.
  • Ability to frame and solve ambiguous problems to drive impact on top strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including story lining at the project level.

About the job

As a part of the Strategy and Operations Lead, workflow and solutions activation, you will lead strategic initiatives that shape the design and execution of sales enablement efforts within the global commercial enablement go-to-market team. In partnership with GTM and sales leaders, you will drive impact through programs focused on business incentives, product prioritization and activation levers such as sales collateral, training and tools. This role involves translating business needs into actionable recommendations, helping deliver the best of Google Ads products through compelling incentives, clear processes and prioritized activation, ultimately improving seller experience and supporting a customer-centric approach to product engagement.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies for the Global Business Organization's "activation engine" including elements such as a universal product taxonomy, ad products and sales motions prioritization and activation levers like business incentives, collateral, training and tools.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market, sales and product teams to drive cross-functional sponsorship and alignment.
  • Drive effective execution across the strategy development life-cycle including project planning, milestone tracking, pilot design, success metrics and governance.
  • Create and deliver clear audience-tailored communications and presentations to support strategic recommendations and implementation planning.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and research to support strategic recommendations.
