Senior Finance Manager – FP&A & Operations

Job Description:

We’re partnering with a well-established organization to hire a Senior Finance Manager who will serve as a key financial and operational partner to local leadership. This is a highly visible role combining FP&A, full P&L ownership, financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and people leadership. The ideal candidate has strong FP&A experience and enjoys working closely with operational leaders rather than sitting solely within traditional corporate finance. Experience within manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or another operationally intensive environment is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do

• Own and analyze the facility’s full P&L, partnering with leadership on financial performance and business decisions
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling estimates
• Analyze revenue, operating expenses, trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior operational leadership
• Develop financial models and analysis to support business and capital investment decisions
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and sales leadership
• Support month-end activities, including accruals, reclasses, and financial reporting
• Monitor financial controls and help identify and remediate process gaps
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports
• Oversee select administrative and business support functions

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus
• 5–10 years of progressive FP&A / finance experience
• Strong experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• 3+ years of people-management experience
• Strong business-partnering skills with the ability to work directly with senior operational leaders
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience in manufacturing, plant finance, distribution, cost accounting, CPG, or similar operational environments is highly preferred
• Comfortable leading both finance and administrative/office functions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial results into actionable business insights
