We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our expanding HR team. In this fully remote role, you will be a key driver in fostering a fair, compliant, and inclusive workplace across our national footprint. This position is ideal for someone with deep experience managing complex employee relations matters and a passion for creating positive employee experiences in a fast-paced healthcare health setting.
💼 Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000/year
🌍 Location: Fully Remote (U.S. based)
Education/Experience:
- High School, GED, or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited academic institution is preferred.
- SHRM Certification
- A minimum five 5 years of HR (compensation, benefits, employee relations, and HRIS)
- Solid working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing expert guidance to managers and employees
- Lead investigations into allegations of policy violations, discrimination, harassment, and other employee concerns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across multiple states
- Advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, and terminations
- Draft and maintain clear, compliant documentation related to ER cases
- Analyze trends and ER metrics to inform proactive solutions and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and HR leadership on high-risk or escalated matters
- Support initiatives related to employee engagement, conflict resolution, and workplace culture
- Assist with ADA accommodations, leave management, and related compliance topics
- Coach managers on effective communication, conflict de-escalation, and employee development
- Contribute to the creation and rollout of HR policies, procedures, and training programs
