Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to support and scale our Single Event department, accelerating the performance and scalability of our lien resolution offering. This is a strategic role for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and brings a consulting mindset to operational leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying improvement opportunities, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering scalable solutions. Success in this role requires the ability to rapidly assess department workflows, develop actionable insights, and lead initiatives that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. The Senior Director of Operations will be instrumental in evolving the department's structure, systems, and processes to support company growth and client satisfaction.

While experience in lien resolution or subrogation is helpful, it is not required; we are seeking a leader with strong operational and strategic experience who can quickly learn and apply domain knowledge.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Organizational Scaling and Efficiency:

  • Evaluate operational challenges, develop structured recommendations, and lead high-impact initiatives that improve performance and scalability
  • Translate insights into scalable solutions by designing and implementing workflows and operational playbooks that support future growth
  • Define and leverage performance metrics and data insights to inform decisions, resolve bottlenecks, and measure results
  • Contribute to the financial performance of the department, including budgeting, cost management, and improving profitability through operational efficiency

Team Leadership and Personnel Management:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and support to drive individual and team performance aligned with departmental goals
  • Establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring consistent execution and supporting employee growth over time

Customer-Centric Mindset:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and client priorities
  • Partner closely with Client Success and Sales to ensure operational execution supports client renewals, retention, and expansion
  • Identify and drive improvements that enhance the client experience, reduce friction, and support long-term retention

Cross-Department Coordination:

  • Partner closely with leaders across all departments to ensure strategic alignment and support effective execution of cross-functional initiatives
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify system-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and scalability

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting firm or internal consulting capacity is highly preferred
  • MBA or JD preferred
  • Experience in high-impact roles where the individual has demonstrated success in scaling processes, increasing efficiency, and directly contributing to business growth
  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role 
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex operations, summarize issues, and provide succinct recommendations to drive lasting change
  • Strong background in scaling teams, improving workflows, and measuring performance outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence across functions
  • Analytical and data-driven, with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%

Pay Disclosure:

The total base salary range for this role is $152,000 - $228,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
