Our client, a passionate nonprofit in Palm Beach County, is looking for a Senior Director of Finance and Operations. This organization is expected to grow strongly in the coming years.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$90k - $100k
Position Overview
The Senior Director of Finance and Operations will develop and guide a strategic vision that aligns with the organization's mission and operational capabilities. They will foster and sustain important relationships with board members, donors, funders, and partners.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Director Of Finance And Operations
- Ensure Financial Stewardship:
- Oversee financial management to ensure responsible use of resources and maintain transparency
- Develop and maintain funding sources:
- Grants.
- Individual/major donors.
- Contracts and partnerships.
- Oversee Financial Operations:
- Prepare/manage annual operating budget.
- Review financials for accuracy as Senior Director of Finance and Operations.
- Ensure timely processing of receivables/payables (monthly reconciliation).
- Produce monthly financial reports, including year-over-year comparisons and budget vs actuals.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Director of Finance and Operations:
- Minimum of 8 years of nonprofit experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience.
- Fundraising and donor relations experience.
- Financial background.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Director of Finance and Operations:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for nonprofit management.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
