Senior Billing Specialist

We are seeking a professional, experienced Senior Billing Specialist candidate who has what it takes to support our Project Managers' billing needs on multi-million-dollar projects. The perfect candidate values a fast-paced work environment and is adaptable to taking on new tasks.
Essential Functions & Capabilities:
- Prepare billings for several Project Managers and prepare including required documentation; 2nd and 3rd tier lien waivers, MBE/WBE reporting.
- T&M billing tasks; Monitor incoming work orders, verify job costs on work, ensure labor rates and rental rates and markups are accurate.
- Adjust billings/receivables as directed by Controller or Project Manager.
- Review customer contracts for billing requirements (forms, due dates, rates, etc.), Submit billings to customers based on specific requirements, including use of customer portals.
- Set up and maintain job information in Vista, including phase codes, cost estimates, billing templates, contracts, change orders, and job closings; managing the job billing cycle from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain a schedule to keep billings and accounts receivable current.
- Prepare/process job cost adjustments as directed by Project Manager or Controller.
- Assist Controller with monitoring under billed jobs.
- Additional duties as directed by the Controller.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a billing position. Construction industry accounting experience required.
- Large-scale project billing preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Vista (formerly Viewpoint) experience a plus.
Position Details:
- Position is located at PayneCrest Electric's St. Louis office in Olivette, Missouri.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours/ week.
- This position reports to the Controller.
