Overview: 

We are looking for a systems-minded and execution-focused Product Operations Manager to support our product development lifecycle with an emphasis on efficiency, education, and enablement. This role will be critical in driving consistent usage and adoption of our product tooling stack—including Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence, and Power BI—and supporting the rollout and experimentation of emerging AI tools like Microsoft CoPilot, Atlassian Intelligence, and Dovetail.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting people to tools, processes to purpose, and data to action. You'll act as the operations backbone for our Product organization, helping us scale with clarity, visibility, and confidence.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Tool Ownership & Optimization

  • Manage, administer, and continuously improve our product tooling suite: Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.
  • Standardize and document usage patterns across the product organization, including intake, prioritization, roadmapping, and reporting workflows.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for training and enablement around our core tools.

AI Exploration & Enablement

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to test and implement AI capabilities like Microsoft CoPilot, Atlassian Intelligence, and Dovetail to improve speed and decision quality.
  • Define success metrics and usage guidelines for AI in the product lifecycle—e.g., for summarizing PRDs, surfacing roadmap insights, or streamlining sprint retrospectives.
  • Support responsible AI usage by developing playbooks and internal education sessions for product team members.

Product Metrics & Reporting

  • Define, track, and maintain key product operations metrics—such as time to market, roadmap alignment, and delivery confidence.
  • Build and evolve dashboards using Power BI to support leadership and cross-functional visibility into product health.
  • Proactively identify trends, gaps, and operational bottlenecks based on metrics and tool usage patterns.

Education, Events & Enablement

  • Plan and facilitate internal product operations workshops, enablement sessions, and tool onboarding for new hires.
  • Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation to help teams adopt best practices and navigate tools efficiently.
  • Partner with product leadership to support quarterly planning cycles, OKR rollouts, and roadmap checkpoints.

Skills:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or Product Enablement roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.
  • Expertise with Microsoft CoPilot or similar AI tools 
  • Strong understanding of product development workflows in Agile environments; experience aligning tooling with iterative delivery models.
  • Passion for process efficiency, data clarity, and helping teams work smarter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity across functions and levels.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience rolling out new tools, AI platforms, or internal process frameworks within a product org.
  • Familiarity with Dovetail, Atlassian Intelligence, or other modern product enablement platforms.
  • Experience supporting quarterly or annual planning rituals (e.g., roadmap alignment, OKRs).
  • Exposure to fintech, insurance, or regulated industries a plus.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Preferred candidates will have experience in payments or technology. Insurance experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related discipline, or relevant experience.
  • 5 years professional experience with 2 years working in product management, product operations, or strategy & operations roles, ideally for a fast-growing business.
  • English fluency at native level.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to partner and other locations in the United States.
