About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and evolve our digital onboarding and account opening workflows, with a focus on reducing fraud, minimizing friction, and creating a seamless customer experience. You’ll play a key role in optimizing our use of Alloy (a leading orchestration platform for digital onboarding) and driving measurable improvements in automation, fraud reduction, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and tactical execution. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across fraud, engineering, compliance, and customer experience, while directly impacting onboarding conversion and account growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for digital onboarding and account opening workflows.
  • Lead Alloy workflow implementation, optimization, and tuning in collaboration with engineering and fraud teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to refine onboarding flows, identifying pain points and opportunities for automation.
  • Analyze flagged applications and fraud patterns, iterating on rules and workflows to reduce manual review rates.
  • Define KPIs, measure success, and report progress (e.g., reduce manual reviews from 90% to 35%).
  • Drive cross-functional alignment, building confidence with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with KYC requirements.
  • Develop strategies to improve account opening conversions through online channels (goal: increase from 12% to 25%).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital onboarding best practices, workflow management, and fraud/security tradeoffs.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of product management experience (strategic + tactical).
  • Hands-on experience with onboarding/account opening workflows.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Alloy or similar workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Bottomline).
  • Strong understanding of KYC, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements in financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to engage stakeholders, influence decisions, and clearly articulate strategy.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Product management background in banking, payments, or fraud/security products.
  • Track record of reducing fraud and friction in onboarding processes (e.g., "reduced fraud by X%" or "cut manual reviews by Y%").
  • Experience with account opening for both consumer deposits and small business accounts.

Benefits

  • Health, Dental, Vision, Parental Leave, Disability Coverage, FHN, Group Life Insurance, PTO
