Process Analyst - Accounting and Finance

Job Description:

Vaco is searching for a Process Analyst - Accounting and Finance to work with one of our largest clients in Atlanta. This is a unique position in that we are searching for someone with an accounting background that will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial processes to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role involves working closely with various departments to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions. The role is contract to hire with a permanent salary expectation of $90K-$93K plus a 10% bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current financial processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement optimized financial procedures.
• Collaborate with different departments to streamline accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management.
• Conduct regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.

Qualifications

​

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
