Principal Product Manager

Job Description:

2K is a global video game company headquartered in Novato, California, publishing titles developed by influential game development studios. The Principal Product Manager will join the 2K Core Games Product team to lead product initiatives across the Gearbox Portfolio of games.

Responsibilities include:

• shaping content, live service, and monetization plans to balance player value and commercial goals,
• collaborating with studios and product leadership,
• prioritizing product management needs across multiple projects,
• leading other Product Managers.

The role involves:

• defining product priorities for multiple unannounced projects,
• evaluating product market fit,
• developing expertise in portfolio games and competition,
• championing product strategy,
• providing insights-backed recommendations,
• defining telemetry needs,
• analyzing data,
• communicating with teams and executives,
• building strong relationships with studios and commercial teams,
• leading and prioritizing work of other managers and analysts,
• delivering market intelligence,
• advocating for players,
• ensuring fair and balanced engagement and monetization models.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with data-informed decision-making skills, deep experience in product management and game development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for games and players. Bonus points for experience with shooters, ARPGs, tactical shooters, roguelikes, business intelligence tools, and data visualization.
