The Company
A leading UK business operating across construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead national operational performance across a multi-site network.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded operator who can balance strategy with delivery and drive operational excellence at scale.
The Role
You will take responsibility for operational strategy and performance across depots, logistics, engineering, workshops, supply chain and customer service. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive efficiency, improve margins, lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure safe, high-quality service delivery across the UK.
The Person
To succeed in this role it is essential that you have :
- Significant senior operations leadership experience
- A strong track record managing multi-site operations
- Commercial and financial acumen with budget responsibility
- Experience leading large operational teams and driving change
- Strong understanding of engineering, logistics or asset-led environments
Experience within plant hire, specialist equipment, construction or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
