Head of Finance & Operations -Fast-Growing AI Startup - NYC

Job Description:

We're recruiting a Head of Finance & Operations role at a seed-stage AI startup in NYC that's building the AI brain for the $120B hotel and short-term rental industry.

In under two years they've shipped a product loved by hundreds of paying customers, are growing 20% month-over-month, and have raised over $6M from the heads of the Stanford and Berkeley AI labs plus investors behind Discord, Hugging Face, and Replicate. They're now scaling from $2M toward tens of millions in revenue.

You'd be their first dedicated finance leader, reporting directly to the CEO.

​

What you'd own:

• Board decks, KPI reporting, and financial modelling (Burn Multiple, LTV/CAC, sales efficiency)
• Growth forecasting to guide hiring, spend, and the next fundraise
• Operational infrastructure to scale from $2M to tens of millions
• Vendor management, contracts, compliance, and security questionnaires
• People ops — payroll, HR admin, recruiting support

What they're looking for:

• 4+ years at high-growth, venture-backed B2B SaaS companies
• Finance-first generalist — can build a complex financial model AND manage HR and vendor negotiations
• Track record of helping a company grow through Seed/Series A to Series B and beyond
• Comfortable presenting to board members and lead investors
• Based in or willing to relocate to NYC (fully in-person)
• Must have US work authorisation (no visa sponsorship)
