Ideal Background:

  • Ideally, 8-10+ years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation at a law firm or relevant in-house role
  •  Deep knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related compliance frameworks
  •  Exposure to benefits aspects of M&A transactions (due diligence, drafting, negotiations)
  •  Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other practice areas
  •  A portable book of business in the employee benefits space is preferred but not required
