Ideal Background:
- Ideally, 8-10+ years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation at a law firm or relevant in-house role
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related compliance frameworks
- Exposure to benefits aspects of M&A transactions (due diligence, drafting, negotiations)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other practice areas
- A portable book of business in the employee benefits space is preferred but not required
