Job Description

Consertus, Inc. is a high-growth capital program management and advisory company providing transformative digital, advisory, and delivery solutions that drive successful outcomes for capital and construction projects worldwide. Supported by a team of over 800 full-time professionals, the company serves a diverse client base across the U.S., Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and India.

We take great pride in living our guiding principles – Cultivate Curiosity, Innovate and Elevate, Act with Integrity, and Win Together – which inform our company culture. And as a Legal team, we aspire to model and enhance this culture by exhibiting dedication, creativity, resourcefulness, efficiency, and a client-first, service-first mentality.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Contracts and Legal Ops Coordinator aligned with our mission. The successful candidate will, among other things, lead our contract management efforts and administer our contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform.

This position will offer a high level of exposure across the business, and outstanding professional growth opportunities. You will be encouraged to build your profile internally by working collaboratively across departments and regions, reducing the company’s risk profile, and driving revenue growth.

This role may be based anywhere in the continental United States.

Essential Functions And Duties

  • Ensure robust and complete contract management, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, and implementing process changes.
  • Play a leading role in onboarding newly acquired companies into the contract management system, organizing their contracts, tracking key contract provisions, and supporting training.
  • Review and validate contracts in the CLM to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor in-flight contracts to prevent bottlenecks in review, approval, or e-signature.
  • Provide frontline support for contract requesters with system and process questions.
  • Partner with Finance and Ops to onboard vendors, request COIs, and ensure accurate setup in all systems.
  • Upload and circulate contracts for execution.
  • Prepare reports and analytics based on CLM and vendor portal usage.
  • Keep the Contracting Guidebook and Legal intranet portal up to date.
  • Manage certificates of insurance as needed.
  • Support our vendor management efforts, including the development and roll-out of an in-house vendor onboarding and management system.
  • Help build the foundation of a best-in-class legal and compliance function, with an initial focus on our entity management and contracting functions.
  • Support Legal team members and other company employees on other tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in contracting, compliance, and/or legal operations fields.
  • Experience with, and strong understanding of, contract terms and conditions including risk identification and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms, particularly in the project management and advisory, construction, or energy industries, is highly desirable.
  • BS/BA from an accredited university preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Highly organized and structured, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Comfortable with, or an interest in learning about, the use of new technologies and software, including generative and agentic artificial intelligence.
  • Professional demeanor, high level of integrity, good judgment, attention to detail, and effective problem solver.
  • Alignment with the company’s core values and guiding principles.

We understand you may be a great candidate without fitting all of our preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, and attributes. And you may have other skills and experiences that are valuable for the role, but which we haven’t thought of. Because we recognize this and we value diversity of thought, experience, and background, we still encourage you to apply.

Consertus is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
