Chief of Staff to Principal
Overview
We are seeking a talented Principal Executive Partner / Chief of Staff to serve as the strategic and operational partner to a female Principal overseeing a growing portfolio of entrepreneurial, creative, and philanthropic initiatives.
Central to the Principal’s operations, the role is focused on bringing order and momentum to a broad range of projects and ventures. The successful candidate will combine intellectual rigour with practical delivery – evaluating opportunities, shaping ideas into viable businesses, and ensuring consistent progress across all work streams.
Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage environments is essential, as is the ability to move between strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
Expectations
The Principal Executive Partner / Chief of Staff for Female Principal in Singapore will:
- Act as a trusted partner to the Principal, contributing to the development and refinement of business ideas, ventures, and philanthropic initiatives.
- Translate concepts and passion projects into structured strategies, commercial models, and actionable plans.
- Conduct research and analysis across industries to support decision-making and opportunity evaluation.
- Build financial models, prepare reports, and analyse the viability of new ventures and investment opportunities.
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring initiatives maintain momentum from concept through execution.
- Coordinate advisors, collaborators, and partners across ventures and initiatives.
- Prepare briefings, presentations, and strategic materials to support decision-making.
- Maintain oversight of priorities and ensure key matters progress efficiently.
- Assist with operational and administrative coordination where required to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- Exceptional financial and commercial acumen, with proven experience in entrepreneurial, investment or start‑up settings (such as PE/VC, investment banking, strategy consulting, growth‑stage ventures or a family office)
- Right to work in Singapore.
Qualities & Experience
- Strong academic record with degree from a leading Russell Group, Ivy League or equivalent – desirable but not essential
- MBA highly desirable, ideally complementing experience in high‑growth or investment‑focussed settings.
- Experience evaluating business opportunities and developing commercial strategies.
- Advanced analytical capability, including financial modelling, market research and interpreting financial statements.
- Highly organised, with strong project management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholders.
- Confident engaging with senior partners, advisors and collaborators.
- Exceptional discretion and sound judgement.
