Chief of Staff to the CEO
Location: New York City (On-site, 5 days/week)
About the Role: We're seeking a Chief of Staff who will serve as a strategic problem solver and operational force-multiplier for our CEO. You'll guide critical project timelines, manage complex cross-functional initiatives, and take ownership of business areas that require specialized focus. This role is perfect for candidates with 2-6 years in investment banking, consulting, or high-growth tech who want to fast-track into operating leadership while directly shaping company strategy.
Responsibilities
Strategic Problem Solving & Operational Leadership
- Identify operational bottlenecks and develop systematic solutions before they impact the CEO's bandwidth
- Guide and own 30/60/90-day project timelines across Growth, Product, and Operations teams
- Build frameworks for recurring business challenges and create scalable processes
- Drive cross-functional projects to completion, serving as the central coordinator for complex initiatives
Executive Partnership & Business Management
- Manage CEO calendar, communications, and travel with strategic prioritization
- Take full ownership of board preparation, investor updates, and stakeholder communications
- Attend high-stakes meetings as a strategic thought partner, not just a note-taker
- Draft company memos and strategic documents that capture the CEO's vision and voice
Data-Driven Operations
- Build and maintain executive dashboards tracking GMV, activation, and critical business KPIs
- Transform raw data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
- Create early warning systems for potential roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies
- Own the operational cadence that keeps leadership informed and aligned
Organizational Excellence
- Partner with Talent team to source and close top candidates; maintain comprehensive recruiting pipeline analytics
- Design and execute company-wide communication strategies, including all-hands meetings and off-sites
- Monitor team health and proactively recommend actions to strengthen culture and performance
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational challenges outside the CEO's core expertise
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 2-6 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, or high-growth tech operations
- Demonstrated track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems independently
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and driving projects across different functions
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-moving environments while maintaining attention to detail
Core Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools
- Strong project management skills with experience guiding operational timelines
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities

Work Environment
- Full-time, on-site presence in NYC required
