Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Chief of Staff for our client to support the Vice President in driving departmental efficiency, managing key initiatives, and producing high-impact executive communications. This role requires a proactive leader who can navigate complex challenges, synthesize information for C-suite audiences, and help execute strategic improvement initiatives across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and right hand to the VP, helping to manage priorities, track progress, and ensure alignment across initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation of Steering Committee and Funding presentation decks for executive and C-suite audiences, ensuring clarity, impact, and strategic alignment.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve departmental challenges, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Drive and support departmental improvement initiatives, including process optimization, performance tracking, and change management.
  • Act as a liaison between the VP and internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely communication and follow-through.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage special projects and ad hoc requests with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic, operational, or Chief of Staff-type role, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with IT or technology portfolios.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion in handling sensitive information.
