The Role:
The Chief of Staff is the Founder’s strategic partner and steady counterpart, the person who turns Lavela’s mission into motion.
You will help shape the foundation of our company: how we operate, how teams work together, how ideas become products, and how we grow with intention. This role is for a builder, someone who thrives in early stages, who loves creating structure from possibility, and who understands the emotional gravity of the women we serve.
What You’ll Do:
- Operational Heartbeat
- Create elegant systems for how we run: planning, decision-making, roadmaps, accountability.
- Turn ambiguity into calendars, milestones, and momentum.
- Ensure every team knows what matters now, what matters next, and what can wait.
- Founder Support
- Protect the Founder’s time and mindshare.
- Anticipate needs, filter noise, simplify complexity, and present thoughtful recommendations.
- Manage sensitive relationships with therapists, partners, and early hires.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Align product, clinical, compliance, and marketing in a way that feels grounded and purposeful.
- Build processes that lift people up, not slow them down.
- Step into projects that don’t yet have an owner
Therapist Experience & Community
- Help design a therapist onboarding journey that is warm, respectful, and painless.
- Listen to therapists, map their pain points, and translate insights into improvements.
- Support the emergence of a Founding Therapist collective that feels special, not transactional.
