Chief of Staff
Invitation Homes is the nation’s largest single-family home leasing and management company, offering professionally managed, updated homes in desirable neighborhoods across 16 major U.S. markets. Since acquiring its first property in 2012, the company has built a portfolio of more than 50,000 homes and achieved an industry-leading 80% resident retention rate. Through a combination of scale, operational excellence, and resident-focused innovation, Invitation Homes has established itself as the premier provider of high-quality, single-family rentals. The organization is committed to delivering a consistent, worry-free leasing experience supported by best-in-class service, modern technology, and a strong local presence in every market it serves.
Invitation Homes is distinguished by its commitment to innovation, service, and community. The company continues to lead the industry through forward-thinking initiatives, expanding into two service lines within the last two years: the implementation of Smart Home technology and the launch of its proprietary ProCare maintenance program, which provides proactive in-home service and 24/7 digital maintenance support through a dedicated app. Recently, they have also created a lending business line, and Invitation Homes continues to look for ways to grow the organization and its offerings. Backed by a team of approximately 1,800 associates—1,500 of whom serve in local markets—Invitation Homes delivers top-tier property management through experienced, service-oriented professionals who understand the importance of being both responsive and community-focused.
As Invitation Homes continues to evolve both organically and acquisitively, they are looking to add a Chief of Staff who will serve as the right hand to the CEO and Founder while also working cross-functionally with key leadership to create operational efficiencies, streamline processes, and manage projects across business divisions. This leader will be an entrepreneurial-minded, organized, and collaborative self-starter who will act as a business accelerator, serving as a true partner to the leadership team and helping to drive formalization and structure around business operations. A successful Chief of Staff will maintain a high level of communication across all segments of the organization and take great pride in seeing a project from beginning to end. This person will have a high level of emotional intelligence while maintaining a sense of urgency and balancing multiple projects and responsibilities with grace.
