Chief Of Staff Hormona
About Hormona:
Hormona is building the future of women's health.
We're creating the leading hormone-powered health platform, combining science, AI, and data to help women better understand their bodies, make informed health decisions, and take control of their wellbeing.
We're still early, which means every hire shapes the future of the company. As we scale, we're focused on building not only an exceptional product, but an exceptional company—one that moves fast, hires exceptional people, and gives talented individuals the environment to do the best work of their careers.
The Role:
We're hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the founders to build a company that executes exceptionally well. This isn't a traditional Chief of Staff role. It's a company-building role.
Today, Hormona is a founder-led organisation where the founders are closely involved in almost every decision. As we grow, we need someone who can help the company scale without slowing down.
You'll build the operating system that enables teams to execute with greater speed, ownership, and accountability. You'll create the structures, communication, and operating rhythms that allow the founders to focus on the highest-leverage work while empowering teams to make better decisions independently.
You'll also become a trusted partner to the CEO in building the company itself from organisational design and hiring to strategic projects, performance management, and ensuring the business stays aligned around the priorities that matter most.
Your success won't be measured by the number of meetings you run. It'll be measured by how much faster the company executes, how effectively teams work together, how well we hire, and how much leverage you create for the founders.
What You'll Do:
- Build and continuously improve Hormona's operating system, creating the structures, processes, and rhythms that enable world-class execution.
- Increase the speed and quality of execution across the company by improving decision-making, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Build the bridge between the founders and the wider organisation, ensuring priorities, context, and decisions are communicated clearly in both directions.
- Own the company's annual planning process and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring company priorities translate into measurable outcomes across every team.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve Hormona's OKR framework, creating alignment, focus, and accountability throughout the organisation.
- Own the company-wide performance review process, helping build a culture of continuous feedback, high performance, and personal growth.
- Help build the next layer of leadership by creating stronger ownership, accountability, and decision-making across the organisation.
- Partner closely with the CEO on organisational design, hiring strategy, and leadership development.
- Support the CEO in hiring exceptional talent by helping define roles, assess candidates, improve hiring processes, and ensure every hire raises the bar.
- Lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
- Identify bottlenecks, remove blockers, and keep the company moving quickly.
- Build visibility across the company's highest-priority initiatives so the founders always understand progress, risks, and where decisions are needed.
- Improve internal communication so everyone understands company priorities, strategic decisions, and what success looks like.
- Support the CEO with board meetings, fundraising, investor updates, strategic partnerships, and other high-impact initiatives.
- Continuously improve how Hormona collaborates, makes decisions, and scales.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, management consulting, investment banking, strategy, or other high-performance roles, ideally within a high-growth startup or scale-up (experience level depends on company stage).
- Experience helping companies scale beyond founder-led execution by introducing effective operating systems, accountability, and high-performing ways of working.
- Proven experience building and motivating high-performing hybrid or distributed teams where communication, ownership, and trust remain strong.
- Experience designing and running company operating frameworks such as annual planning, quarterly OKRs, and performance review processes.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems, evaluate data, and support high-quality decision-making.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguity.
- A bias for action—you move quickly, solve problems, and keep momentum high.
- Strong judgement and the confidence to challenge ideas constructively while earning trust across the organisation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- High ownership, low ego, and genuine satisfaction from making everyone around you more effective.
You'll Thrive Here If You:
We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-growing environments and loves building companies that execute at a high level.
You're equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen. One day you're helping the CEO make a critical hiring decision, the next you're improving how teams work together, designing our quarterly planning process, leading a cross-functional initiative, or removing the bottlenecks slowing the company down.
You enjoy bringing clarity to complexity, creating structure where it's needed, and raising the performance of the people around you. You know that great companies aren't built by founders alone—they're built by exceptional teams with clear priorities, high standards, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
If you're energised by ambitious goals, high standards, rapid growth, and the opportunity to have an outsized impact on how a company scales, you'll fit right in.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a venture-backed startup during rapid growth.
- Background in organisational design, business operations, or scaling technology companies.
- Experience supporting fundraising, investor relations, or board reporting.
- Experience in healthtech, femtech, AI, SaaS, or consumer technology.
- Experience coaching managers or building high-performing teams.
Why Join Hormona?
This is one of the most impactful roles in the company.
You'll work side-by-side with the founders to shape how Hormona scales, influence every part of the business, and build the operating foundation that enables the next stage of growth.
You'll help build an organisation where talented people move quickly, own their work, make great decisions, and continuously raise the bar for themselves and those around them.
If you're excited about building exceptional teams, creating world-class execution, and helping redefine the future of women's health, we'd love to hear from you.
