Chief of Staff

We are partnering with a founder-owned, early-stage vertical SaaS business at an important inflection point in its growth. The company has built a mission-critical, workflow-driven software product with strong customer engagement and repeat usage. Demand and product momentum are solid, and the founder is now focused on increasing execution capacity to support the next phase of growth.

To support this, the business is hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the founder and act as a force multiplier across operations, customers, and day-to-day execution.

This role reports directly to the founder and is designed for a highly adaptable, hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity and wants meaningful ownership in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the founder’s right hand across day-to-day priorities and execution.
• Own follow-ups, coordination, and task management across internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage directly with customers and prospects, building rapport and trust.
• Support sales activity, pipeline follow-through, and conference-led outreach.
• Help bring structure, cadence, and operational discipline to a growing business.
• Take ownership of problems and move them forward without heavy oversight.

Candidate Profile

• Experience operating in early-stage or founder-led environments, often as a Chief of Staff, first ops hire, or generalist operator.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats across operations, customers, and light commercial work.
• Low-ego, execution-oriented, and highly adaptable working style.
• Strong communicator who builds trust quickly with non-technical customers.
• Motivated by ownership, learning, and impact rather than narrowly defined role boundaries.
• Backgrounds may include early-stage SaaS, vertical software, finance or strategy roles seeking broader scope, or search fund / ETA-adjacent environments.
