Overview

Our client is a leading proprietary trading firm specialising in high-frequency trading within global digital asset markets. The firm operates a technology-driven platform powered by engineers, traders, and quantitative researchers, with a strong focus on performance, execution, and operational excellence.  

This is a high-impact Chief of Staff / Strategic Operations role working directly alongside the COO. You will act as a key execution partner to senior leadership, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into operational outcomes across the organisation.  

This role requires strong ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Operational Leadership  

• Drive execution of high-priority strategic initiatives across core business functions, including Trading Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance  
• Translate leadership priorities into actionable plans and ensure timely delivery  
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable, effective solutions  

Cross-Functional Coordination  

• Serve as a central coordination point across leadership and operational teams  
• Ensure alignment, remove blockers, and facilitate efficient decision-making  
• Support organisational planning cycles, leadership reviews, and operational follow-ups  

Process Design & Optimisation  

• Design and implement scalable internal processes to support organisational growth  
• Improve operational efficiency by simplifying workflows and increasing clarity  
• Establish structured frameworks for execution tracking and accountability  

Executive Enablement  

• Act as a force multiplier to the COO by managing priorities and key initiatives  
• Prepare executive briefings, materials, and operational updates  
• Synthesise complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations

Candidate Profile

Experience  

• Background in operations, strategy, consulting, finance, trading, or similar execution-intensive roles  
• Experience working closely with senior leadership or executive teams  
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional initiatives  
• Experience in high-performance environments such as trading firms, hedge funds, crypto, fintech, or technology is strongly preferred
